The Vernon Churchyard is located on Route 94 in Vernon Village, between the
Methodist and Episcopal churches.  It actually represents three cemeteries:
an early Presbyterian burying ground, and two later cemeteries, Methodist
and Episcopalian, each facing their respective churches.  Burials in the
Episcopal Cemetery are noted by a (Ý).  Recorded by Ronald J. Dupont, Jr.,
1989.  The cemetery contains 150 marked burials, wherein 197 names are
cited.
