HARDEN, Mrs. Sarah died at her home in this borough on Friday las. She was 42 years, 1 month and 2 days old and a daughter of the late Grinnell and Sarah (Roe) VAN GELDER, of Wantage, where she was born. She married Arthur HARDEN who survives her with two sons, William of Scranton, PA., and Harry, and one daughter, Harriet, of this borough, and is also survived by one sister, Mrs. John RANDOLPH, of Wantage. Funeral: Monday at the house, Rev. E. E. Loux officiating. Interment: Deckertown Union Cemetery.

HARRIS, Abraham H., At noon on Monday, July 13, 1903, one of Newton’s oldest citizens, passed away at his home on Halsted Street, in the 89th year of his age. The deceased was born at Somerville on the 29th of November 1814. Some 45 years ago, he resided in Iowa. After residing at Belvidere for a time, 27 years ago, he removed to Newton. He is survived by his widow and five children of a former marriage, two sons and three daughters. Three of the children reside in Wisconsin, one in Nevada and one in New York State. The funeral services will be held at his late residence.

HARRISON, Mrs. Malvina EDSALL, died at her home near Vernon April 25, 1913. She was a daughter of the late WILLIAM WISNER EDSALL and ANNALINE WOOD, and was born Feb. 5th, 1851. About 40 years ago she married IRA HARRISON, who died a number of years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs JAMES RYERSON and CARPENTER; also by two sisters, Mrs. FREEMAN MASKER of Amity, and Mrs. ROE of Edenville. Interment in Warwick cem.

HOWELL, Asenath (PELLET), wife of our esteemed and venerable townsman, Alpheus HOWELL, died at her late home in this place, early on Tuesday morning, in the seventy-fifth year of her age. She was a daughter of the late Obadiah Pellet, of Pellettown. Besides her husband she leaves five children: Judge O.P. Howell, of Port Jervis, John C. Howell, Cashier Merchants National Bank, Newton; Mrs. John M. COX, Farmingdale, Misses Martha and Marietta, now at home. The funeral occured at her late home on Thursday.
