BABB - Private funeral services for Albert Wesley BABB, eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Babb, of 10 Nestor street, Franklin, who died January 28, were held at the house January 30. Rev. H. J. Allsup, of Franklin Presbyterian Church, officiated. Interment was in the North Church Cemetery.

BABCOCK, Benjamin, a laborer, was found dead in bed last Thursday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Storms, who resides in the small house on the Peter Caskey farm. He was in his sixty-first year. His father was Theodore BABCOCK and his mother was Mary E. BABCOCK, both of New York state. It is believed that he is surrvived by two daughters and a son. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock with a short service at the grave, Rev. P.R. Schriver officiating. Burial was made in North Church Cemetery.

BABCOCK, Mrs. Elizabeth, age 74, widow of Jonas Babcock, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George RUDE, after a long illness. She was born December 25, 1869, at Wawayanda Lake, a daughter of Isaac and Rebecca Johnson BABCOCK, She was married July 3, 1887, to Jonas BABCOCK. She is survived by another daughter, Mrs. James DOLSAY of Bloomingdale, and two sons, Fred, of Catasauqua, Pa and Ezra, of Utica, N.Y. Funeral: At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rude, Wednesday at 2 p.m. and conducted by Rev. A. G. Graham Jr., of Sussex Baptist Church. Burial: North Hardyston Cemetery. BABCOCK, Mrs. Emma H. , wid/o Harry BABCOCK, died at the home of her son Harry BABCOCK Jr. of 20 Sussex street, yesterday. Born at Andover seventy-three years ago, the dau/o Mr. and Mrs. John ACKERMAN. Twice married, first husband was Van HAMLER. To this union three daughters were born, Mrs. Sadie BABCOCK, of Bayonne: Miss Laura HAMLER, of Hoboken, and Mrs. Thomas SMALE, of Hackettstown. Her second husband was the late Harry BABCOCK. To this union one son was born, Harry BABCOCK, Jr. Also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Claude BERRY, of Andover, and Mrs. Edward BERRY, of Newark. Services: Iliff Funeral Home. Burial: Andover Cemetery.

BABCOCK, James H. died last Thursday at Greystone Park, at the age of sixty-two years. His body was brought to the home of his son Jas. R, of Rudeville. Besides the son he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E. BABCOCK, of Sussex; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie E. BUTLER, of McAfee and Mrs. Daniel NORMAN, of Sussex; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob MOORE, of Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Jonas BABCOCK, of Hardystonville; one brother, John of Rudeville. Funeral: Franklin Presbyterian Church, Rev. H. J. Allsup, pastor, officiating. Interment: North Church Cemetery.

BABCOCK, Jonas, fifty five years old, died last Thursday at his home at Rudeville. He was born at Stockholm, the son of Peter and Harriet Babcock and was married July 3, 1887, to Elizabeth Babcock, of Rudeville who survives him. The other surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. George W. Rude, of Hardystonville, and Mrs. James Dolsay of Butler, and three sons, Fred, of Rudeville; Ezra, of Phillipsburg, and Asa of Rudeville. The funeral was held Suinday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hamburg Baptist Church. Rev. A. E. Davis officiated. Burial was in the North Church Cemetery.

BABCOCK, Mrs. Mary Etta, sixty-eight, wife of William Babcock, died Sunday at her home in Main Street, Sussex. She was born May 13, 1870, in Montague, daughter of Bowdewine and Susie J. OUTER GUNDERMAN. She was married to Mr. Babcock at Vernon and has lived in Sussex twenty three years. Surviving, besiders her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Minnie BUTLER, of Hardyston township, and Mrs. Pearl NORMAN, of Sussex, one son, James R. BABCOCK, of Sussex, a sister Mrs. Andrew CONKLIN, of McAfee, two brothers, Samuel GUNDERMAN, of Glenwood, and Roy GUNDERMAN, of Franklin, two half brothers, Chauncey COURTRIGHT of Franklin, and Charles COURTRIGHT of Great Meadows; eighteen grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren. Funeral: Harry House Funeral Home, Sussex. Rev. Arthur I. DeWire, of Sussex M.E. Church, officiated. Interment: North Church Cemetery.

BARRET, Gabriel, of Vernon died Friday morning, November 16, 1934 in Linn Hospital, Sussex. He was one of eleven children born to Gilbert and Jane WILLIAMS BARRETT, and was born Dec. 8, 1858 in Columbus, OH. Sirvived by: Two brothers, James, of Sugar Loaf, NY and Jesse, of Vernon; five sisters: Mrs. Mary WHITE, of Washingtonville, NY; Mrs. Sarah MARQUETTE of Yonkers, NY; Mrs. Martha PADDOCK, of Florida, NY; Mrs. Emma LITTLE, of Middletown, NY and Mrs. Minnie SMITH, of Chester, NJ. Funeral: Warwick NY Chapel. Interment: At Warwick.

BEACH, Ithamar, died last Thursday night at the home of his nephew, Frank A. BROSS, in Newark. He was in his eighty-seventh year, having been born in Sussex County in 1827. When ten years old his parents went to Newark. When the first horse car was run in that city, from the city line at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery to the Market street railroad station, in 1862, Beach was the driver. His funeral was held Friday night and interment was made on Saturday at Newton. His wife died six years ago and his nephew is his only survivor.

BECK, Mrs Rose, Funeral services were held Saturday morning for Mrs. Rose BECK seventy-one, widow of Bernard BECK, at St. Joseph's Church. Mrs. BECK has been living with her daughter, Mrs. Perry CLIFFORD, at CULVERs Lake. Besides her daughter, a son, Godfrey BECK, survives.
Burial: St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Survived by several brothers and sister, Mrs. Simpson WOLFE, Miss Nell BEEMER and William BEEMER of Newton, Percy BEEMER and Mrs. Louis BARTON of Madison. BENJAMIN, Mrs. Florence Isabell, w/o David W. BENJAMIN, of the town of Greenville, Orange County, died Wednesday at her home. She was born in Colesville May 9, 1859, a daughter of Levi and Mary JONES LATEER. Survived by her husband, a son, Harry L., and a daughter, Mrs. Alice HARLOR, both at home; six grandchildren; a brother, Emmett LATEER, of Goshen, and a sister, Charity, wife of Loren KELLER, of Port Jervis. Funeral: At her home. Burial: Unionville Cemetry.

BLOOM, John D. died last Thursday afternoon in his 71st year. He, with his family moved to this place from his farm in Stillwater township about fifteen years ago. He leaves a wife and four children, three of whom are still at home; only one the four, Alvah J. Bloom, being married, who now resides at Hamburg. His funeral was held at his late residence on Monday. Interment in the Andover Cemetery.

BLOOM - Death took away from earth this Thursday morning, Richard Bloom, of near Quarryville. Born in Vernon, a son of John Bloom. He is survived by a widow and one son, Abram, at home. The funeral will be held on Saturday forenoon in Wantage Church. Interment in Fairview.

BLOOM, Mrs. Susan Elinor, widow of the late John D. Bloom, died at her home in Andover on Friday last, March 17th. Deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nehemiah HILL, the former a veteran of the war of 1812, and was born to these parents on December 10, 1835, and was thus in her 87th year. Mr. Bloom retired from farming, as we recall, something over thirty years ago, purchased the late Joseph H. Valentine property in Andover, since which time they lived, the husband dying, as we recall, some eighteen or nineteen years ago. There is left surviving her after this long and eventful life three children: Alva, at Hamburg; George at Vineland, and Miss May at home. Another daughter, Lucinda, died some fourteen years ago. A funeral service was held on Monday at the house, with burial in their family plot in the Andover cemetery.
